Mrs. Anna E. Burgess, Age 83, Is Dead

Mrs. Anna E. Burgess, 83, widow of Andrew J. Burgess, died at her home north of Michigantown at 1 p.m. yesterday following an illness of two months' duration.

Born September 29, 1858, Mrs. Burgess was the daughter of Philip and Nancy Perrell. She was married to Mr. Burgess, who preceded her in death on April 21, 1923, in 1907. She was a member of the Kirklin Christian church.

Two brothers, Joseph and George Perrell, Michigantown, and an adopted son, John Perrell, survive.

Funeral services will be held from the Hunt funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. B. G. Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Laymon cemetery, north of Michigantown.
