Rachel is the second born of George and Eleanor (Nellie) Lee Glazener. Her older brother, Abraham, was born in Allegany Co., MD and her next brother, Isaac, was born in Person Co., NC. Rachel may have been born in Maryland or North Carolina, or in Georgia during the short time her parents lived there.

She married Peter Weaver about 1807. There is the strong possibility Peter was married earlier and the three older children were from that marriage. Rachel would have been too young for the oldest daughter, Elizabeth, born in 1798 and there is a gap between births after John, born 1802 and Lavina, born 1808.

Born to Peter and Rachel Glazener Weaver were:
Lavina (1808-1880)
Nancy (1811-1883)
Floyd Daniel (1813-1894)
Samuel (1815-1865)
Peter Jr (1815-1850)
David (1820-1864)
Rachel (1822-1880)
Silas (1824-1870)
Simeon Edward "Sim" (1827-1915)

Rachel's date of death and location have been recorded but not the cemetery where she was buried.
