JOHN L. CREEKMORE, age 84, of Route 1, Jellico, Tennessee died Tuesday at the Jellico Community Hospital.
Mr. Creekmore is survived by his wife, Mencie Jane of Jellico; three daughters, Thelma Chapman, LaFollette, Tennessee, Dorothy Baird, Woolridge, Tennessee and Patsy Cupp of Pineville, Kentucky; three sons, Robert, Newcomb, Tennessee, Johnny, Oswego, Tennessee and Jac, Newcomb; one sister, Mandy Holt, Daytona, Ohio; one brother, Walter of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Church of God First Born at Woodridge, with the Rev. Duran Dixon and the Rev. Robert Goins officiating. Interment was at Douglas Cemetery.
Llewellyn Funeral Home, Jellico, Tennesse, was in charge of arrangements.
