She was born in West Salem, Illinois, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. She had been an Anderson resident for the last 63 years.
She retired in 1973 from Community Hospital and had also worked at St. John's Health System.
She was a member of 5th Street United Methodist Church and at the church, she was a member of the Women's Society, taught Sunday School Nursery Class, was on the Funeral Dinner Committee and was involved with Kid's Klub.
She is survived by her daughter: Joanne & husband Keith Kline of Anderson. Son: Jeff & wife Kristyl Sloan of Lafayette. Stepdaugther: Sherry & husband Don Masso of Palm Bay, Florida. Grandchildren: Stephanie Kline, Jeff & wife Lorie Kline all of Anderson, Brad & wife Karie Kline of Noblesville, Jennifer & husband Rex Bryant, Kerry Sloan, Rob Sloan and Molly & husband Dustin Howe all of Lafayette. Great Granddaughter: Madalyn Kline. Two Sisters-in-law, nieces & nephews.
