Charles (Chuck) Edgar Meador was born to Uin Harrison Meador and Thelma Cecil (Jenkins) Meador in Emmet, Arkansas. He was the oldest of four boys. He went into the Air Force in 1950. He met and married Myrtice Olene Hannah, who was called Susie. They had four children, Glenda, Sherry, Kerry, who died at the age of four, and Mark, whom they adopted in La Paz, Bolivia. Chuck retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service and went into real estate. He worked for the same real estate company for over 40 years, which is rare. He died July 8, 2013, at the American Lake Veterans Administration after a long illness.
