Marlene Bailey Aug. 26, 1931 - April 16, 2014 DECATUR - Marlene Louise Kiezskowski Bailey, 82, of Decatur, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo. Marlene was born August 26, 1931, to the late Anthony and Helena (Kieffer) Kiezskowski in Michigan City, IN. She graduated from the University of Chicago with her degree as a Lab Technician. On September 5, 1959, she married Richard "Dick" Bailey Sr. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Three Oaks. Dick preceded her in death on October 1, 1993. Marlene worked at O'Malley/Galien Clinic in Galien for 30 years. After retirement Marlene went back to work in the bakery of Felpausch Stores until her permanent retirement. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Decatur. Marlene is survived by her sons, Richard (Laurie) Bailey Jr. of Decatur and Dale (Pam) Bailey of Galien, MI; sister, Antonia (Cecil) Truett of New Troy, MI; grandchildren, Ryan, Derek, Travis and Blake Bailey; and great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Keeley Bailey. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Marvin Kiezskowski; and sisters, Shirley Lisak and Sister Helen Anthony Kiezskowski. A memorial gathering will be held by the family at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014, at the Galien American Legion Post 344. Burial will take place on a later date at Galien Cemetery.
