Natalie was born May 11, 1975, at Fort Yates, North Dakota, to Robert Many Horses Sr. and Vera White Lightning. She was raised and educated in South Dakota. She worked as a Slot Technician at the Prairie Knights Casino. Natalie loved and was loved by everyone. She would always try to help others, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Vera White Lightning, Cannon Ball; daughter, Angie Pickner, Fort Yates; sister, Lynn (Mark) Hettich, Solen, ND; brother, Darcy Cottonwood, Cannon Ball; foster family, the White family of Pukwana, South Dakota; many nieces and nephews.

Natalie was preceded in death by her son, Adam White Lightning; father, Robert Many Horses Sr.; brother, Robert Many Horses Jr.; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
