Jill Lynn Allen, 54, Wooster, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Wooster Community Hospital, after a lengthy illness.

Jill was born May 2, 1959, in Medina to the late Eugene and Beulah (Smith) Wallace and married Scott D. Allen on Dec. 10, 1983. He survives.

She was a 1978 graduate of Norwayne High School, and had been a homemaker residing in Madisonburg for the past 26 years. She enjoyed taking care of children, doing crafts and tenvding to her plants and flowers.

Surviving are her husband, Scott; a son, Jeremy Raymond, and a daughter, Leslie Ann, both of the home; brothers and sisters Kenny (Pam) Wallace of Odessa, Texas, Connie (Steve) Frauberg of Malta, Ill., Bonnie (Stan) Prickett of Seminole, Texas, her twin sister, Joy (Don) Hughes of San Antonio, Texas, Penny (Ben) Allen and Denny Wallace, both of Creston; brothers-in-law Andrew (Meg) Allen of Fairview Park, Daniel (Marj) Allen of Wooster, Lee (Melinda) Allen of Seville, Ben (Penny) Allen of Creston and George (Gretchen) Allen of Wadsworth; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Scott Allen, in 1997; her parents; and a sister, Cheryl Earle.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Creston Presbyterian Church, with burial to follow in Jackson Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church. Murray Funeral Home in Creston, is assisting the family. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com.
