Bristol: April 26, 2014 at age 81. Predeceased by his wife Jean (Howland) Lutz, parents J. Ransom and Edna Lutz, siblings Harold, Ralph, James Lutz and Anne D’Olivo. Survived by children Lynn (Lutz) Kendrot of Bristol, Lori (Terry Cole) Lutz of South Bristol, and David (Mette Stromnes) Lutz of Rochester. Grandchildren, Nicole and Tracy Kendrot, Michael Bailey, and Nina Lutz. Sisters, Thelma Rehberg and Mary Cronin both of Chili. Several brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.

He was a lifetime member of the Bristol Fire Department and Ambulance Corps. George was the proprietor of Bristol Valley Mobile Park, and a former Highway Superintendent of the Town of Bristol. A heavy machine operator, he worked on many of the highway projects in Monroe County and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, AFL-CIO. He was a Korean War veteran.

Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 8624 Main Street, Route 20A, Honeoye, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM. Burial, Maplewood Cemetery, Henrietta at the convenience of the family.
