Colleen Joy Cook passed from this life Sunday, April 27, 2014 at her home in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. She was born September 27, 1927, in Nowata County to Samuel B. Randall and Lela Faye (Hough) Randall. Joy was a 1945 graduate of Childers High School. Joy lived all her life in the Childers, Alluwe, and South Coffeyville area. Above all, taking care of her family was her greatest love. Her children and grandchildren were so close and dear to her heart. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Joy was an avid rancher and was proud of her home and her land, the C – Ranch. She would sit for hours in her pasture and watch her cattle and horses. She loved the country music shows on RFD-TV and especially the Gaither Gospel Music Show.

Colleen is survived by two daughters, Cindy Cook of South Coffeyville, Judy Wattenbarger and husband Larry of South Coffeyville; five grandchildren, Sherrie Lloyd and husband Wes, Christine Lively and husband Mark, Jason Wattenbarger, Justin Lee and friend Katie Allen, Ashley Jones and husband Tony, six great grandchildren, and one great – great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Sammie Randall and Bill Randall.

Funeral services are 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Ray Witty officiating. Interment will follow at Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery. A family visitation will be Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
