Donna Carolyn (Bangs) Geer 79, of Westminster Texas passed away on April 20th, 2014. Donna was born in Alameda California on April 21st, 1935 and was a graduate of Alameda High School. She was married to Sam Geer for 59 loving years. Donna volunteered her time for 20 years as the secretary for The Westminster Volunteer Fire Department. She enjoyed traveling , scrap booking and most of all her family. Donna is survived by her Husband Sam Geer, Daughter Lori Gregerson (Ron), Son Brian Geer (Lisa), Grandchildren, Danielle Hickerson (John),Tracey Johnson, Denise Johnson, Eric Geer, Kathryn Geer and Great Grandson Bryce Davis. Donna leaves behind many beloved Nieces, Nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Edward B. Bangs, Mother Helen O`Kane Bangs, Brothers Curtis E. Bangs and Lawrence W. Bangs. The family would like to thank Doctor Taysir Jarrah, Meadowbrook Care Center, McKinney Medical Center and New Century Hospice for their kind, compassionate and loving care. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on May 3rd, 2014 at Scoggins Funeral Home. 637 W. Van Alstyne Parkway, Van Alstyne, Texas .75495. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
