Allan was the son of Alfred and Margaret. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, Utah. He married Kay, and they had a beautiful daughter. They later divorced, but remained close friends.
In 1988, Allan married Tamara in California, and they had a daughter and son.
In 1994, Allan graduated Cum Laude from Weber State University with a degree in Business Administration.
Allan loved to travel with his family. One of his joys was hiking the Wind Rivers in Wyoming. He also had a great love of music.
In 1991, Allan became a member at Ascension Lutheran Church in Ogden.
At the time of his death, Allan was survived by his wife, his son and two daughters, a granddaughter, one sister, and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents.
