Mrs. Ernest Schilling, 91, nee Clara Hulda Sultemeier, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at Hill Country Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 9, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerrell Sharp officiating.
Interment followed in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Schilling was born Feb. 9, 1912, at Sandy, the daughter of Gus Sultemeier and Bertha Lindig Sultemeier. She married Ernest Schilling on June 6, 1951, at the Methodist Church. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by two brothers, three sisters and their spouses, including Emil Sultemeier, Erwin and Pat Sultemeier and Estha and Jay Lee Hobbs, all of Johnson City; Vera, Mrs. Elmer Dietert, New Braunfels, and Hattie, Mrs. Joel Fuchs of Blanco.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Schilling was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin Sultemeier and Milson Sultemeier, and two sisters, Cora, Mrs. Walter Weirich, and Minnie Sultemeier.
