Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Luckenbach, a retired farmer and native of Gillespie County, was born at Albert in 188L He married Miss Lina Ahrens May 2, 1907. She died June 10, 1970. Survivors are seven daughters, Mrs. Wesley Heimann of Superior, Ariz. Mrs. Edwin Peese of Fredericksburg, Mrs. Chris Brown of San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Paul Garrett or Cloverdale, Calif.; Mrs. M. A. Kneip, Mrs. Roy Nelson and Mrs. Milton Bernhard, all of Kerrville; three sons, Julius Luckenbach of Fredericksburg, Eugene Luckenbach of San Lorenzo, Calif., and James Luckenbach of Freeport; one sister, Mrs. Henry Wendler of Dallas; one half-sister, Miss Paulina Luckenbach of San Antonio: 31 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
