At the Luce residence, 260 North 18th Street, Saturday, July 15, John E Luce died, aged 74. Survived by widow, Mrs. Abbie Luce; daughter, Mrs. W.S. Barkley of Sheridan; grandson, Vernon Barkley of Sheridan; brother, Oliver Luce of Cunningham, Kansas. Many nieces and nephews survive locally. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of the Salem Mortuary, Monday, July 17 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. M. Fox officiating. Interment at the Dallas Cemetery.
