The son of the late L.M. and Susie Bowlin Anderson, he was born January 2, 1937 in Laurel County, KY. He was a carpenter by profession.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Joseph Anderson, Mae Acton, Sarah Dixion, Ruth Pogue, and James Anderson.
He is survived by his daughters Regina Gale Baker, Susie Anderson and husband Sherman, of Woodbine, KY; his former wife Wanda Parsons Anderson, of Woodbine, KY; his brothers Luther Marshall Anderson, of Florida, and Jake Anderson, of North Carolina; his sisters Dorothy Bentley, of Ohio, and Anita Larkey, of London; and his grandson Joshua Bill Baker, of Woodbine.
Burial followed at McDaniel Cemetery in London.
