Born in New Britain, daughter of the late John and Ann Frank, she lived in Windsor for the past 63 years. She was a devout member of St. Gertrude's Church and had been a member of the Destroyer Escort Association Auxiliary.
Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, three grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Christopher Griffin and her brother John Frank.
Her family will receive friends Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor. Family and friends may gather Thursday, May 1, 2014, 9:15 AM at Carmon's followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Gertrude's Church, Windsor. Burial will be in Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Contributions may be made to either the American Parkinson Disease Association, PO Box 718, Old Mystic, CT 06372 or the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd. Newington, CT 06111.
