James D. Bittle 64, of Indianapolis, passed away March 8, 2008. He was born August 26, 1943 in Terre Haute, to Carl and Mary Bittle. James was retired from Fort Benjamin Harrision, were he worked in the commissary. Mr. Bittle was an Army veteran of the Vietnam war. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School and of the Cambridge School of Weston in Weston, MA. He also had attended Quincy College in Quincy, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lee Bittle. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Lucinda Murphy; sister, Mary Jane (David) Lyons; brother, Gregory D. Bittle; grandchildren, David, Seth and Megan Bramlett; great-grandchildren, Seth Bramlett II, Piper Reilly; nephews, David and Christopher Lyons, Matthew, Douglas and Alexander Bittle.
Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery
