Rosetta "Rosie" Wallman was born January 14, 1934 in Beatrice, NE to Dick and Mary (Miller) Wallman.
She attended country school near Filley and then moved to Beatrice and graduated from Beatrice High School.
She married Melvin Miller on December 25, 1952 at the Pickrell United Evangelical Church.
She worked at the Paddock Hotel and the Bowling Alley for a short time, then worked on the family farm with her husband for 62 years.
Rosie enjoyed bowling, sewing, gardening, reading, camping and crochet. Her family and her home were her life.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin of DeWitt; daughters: Judy (Delmar) Luschen of Oklahoma City, OK; Joyce Miller of Beatrice, NE; Jeannie (Terry) Rasmussen of rural Plymouth, NE; sons: Jerry Lee (Pamela) Miller of DeWitt, NE; Jimmy (Denise) Miller of rural DeWitt, NE; grandchildren: Terry Harms of Lincoln, NE; Angela Gomez of Eugene, OR; Jenny Miller of Huntington Beach, CA; Suzie Sanders of Blue Rapids, KS; Jeff Jurgens of Beatrice; Heidi Niemeyer and husband Dan of Beatrice; Josh Miller and wife Jen of Beatrice; Mariah Miller of Lincoln, NE; Evan and Nicholas Witulski of Beatrice; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Viola (Max) Kimmerling, Evelyn Kramer, Janice (Jerry)Lampe,all of Beatrice; brothers–in-law, Roy (Donna)Miller of Beatrice, Ray (Georgia)Miller of Houston, TX; nieces and nephews.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Mary (Miller) Wallman; granddaughter, Rebecca Newell; brothers-in-law, George Kramer and Alvin Miller.
Visitation will be held at the Harman-Wright Mortuary, Beatrice, NE noon-9 pm Sunday with the family greeting friends from 6-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held 10 am, Monday, April 28, 2014 at the Pickrell United Methodist Church, Pickrell, NE with Pastor Lila Bottolfson, officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Pickrell, NE. A memorial has been established to the Pickrell United Methodist Church.
