Joined the LDS church in Denmark and emigrated to Utah. He changed the spelling of his last name from Bjorn to Biorn to 'Americanize' it. Helped build the Logan, UT temple. Settled in Mink Creek, Idaho, where he became the local school teacher. He served three missions to Denmark, leaving behind (2) wives with families in separate houses at that time. He later became a college professor, a judge, and owned an optical company. He collected clocks. When polygamy was abolished, he stayed with the second wife, Margaret Martha Rasmussen, and his first wife, Emilie Kristine Rasmussen/Nielsen married Thomas Hopkins. After Margaret's death in 1902, he married Emma Christine Lundberg, from Sweden, who helped raise his young daughter, Annie Margaret Biorn. He and Emma had one daughter, Emma Marie Biorn.
Died of cancer.
