Betty attended school at Florida; and later received CMA and EMT training at Kiamichi Vo-Tech in Atoka. She worked many years at Atoka Memorial Hospital as a nurse’s aid and E.M.T. and later for Dr. Diacom before she retired in 1993. She married Robert N. Frazier in 1959 in California who preceded her in death. Betty later married Ferman Mayo on July 30, 1982 at Bentley who preceded her in death. Betty was a member of Blackjack Baptist Church. She was a big supporter of Baptist Children’s Home. She enjoyed quilting, fishing, raising racing horses, assisting with foster children. She is preceded in death by the father of her children, Robert Frazier; 2nd husband; parents; sister, Frances Whiddon; brothers, L. D., Bill, Eddie and Paul Alvey and an infant brother; and brothers in law, Kenneth and Frankie Frazier.
