PEORIA - Jo Ann Orr, 62, of 1047 N. Emily Place, Apt. 212 passed away at 4:20 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2007, at 1566 Upper Spring Bay Road, Metamora.
She was born Sept. 8, 1944, in Peoria to Francis and Ruth (Stewart) Palm.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Jo Ann is survived by one daughter, Ruth (Adolf P.) Walters of Metamora; two grandchildren, Adolf J. (Carrie) Walters of Washington and Bruce Walters of Metamora; her fiance, Lonzlo Karsay of Peoria; three brothers, Kenneth (Pat) Palm and Ronnie Palm, both of Morton, and Mike (Sharon) Palm of Pekin; and two sisters, Carol (Garold) Snyder of Pekin and Francie (Roger) Perdue of East Peoria.
Mrs. Orr previously worked in maintenance at Landmark Racquet and Health Club in Peoria, and also spent some time taking care of elderly people.
She attended Calvary Baptist Bible Church in Peoria.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Creve Coeur Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Randy Sanders officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Spring Bay Cemetery in Spring Bay.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
