Thelma Louise Dick Wood, 79, of Hedgesville, W.Va., died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at South Berkeley Funeral Chapel, Inwood, W.Va. The service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Central Chapel Church, Hedgesville. Burial will be in Central Chapel Cemetery.

Thelma Louise Dick Wood, 79, of Hedgesville, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born October 16, 1934 in Berkeley County, she was the daughter of the late James Richard Dick and Jessie Morrow Dick.

She was a member of the Central Chapel Church and a honorary member of Snyder's Bible Church.

She is survived by; David and Sandy Wood, Douglas and Kathy Wood., both of Ganotown; Debbie and Jerry Frye, of Ganotown, Mary and Scott Crawford of Hedgesville, and Ellen Moore of Martinsburg; sixteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; daughter in-law, Missy Wood; five brothers, James R. Dick, Jr., John H. Dick, Boyd A. Dick, Roy F. Dick and Donald W. Dick; three sisters, Nora L. Walls, Mary E. Burkhart, and Freda D. Weaver.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hunter Wood; a son, Charles R. Wood; and a brother Oliver Clinton Dick.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brown Funeral Homes' South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 1, at Central Chapel Church with Pastors Donald W. Dick, Chris Walls, and friend Greg Frye officiating. Interment will be in the Central Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Central Chapel Church, 2546 Back Creek Valley Road, Hedgesville, WV 25427
