Lucille May Williams age 95 of Commerce, Oklahoma, left this earth to be with her heavenly father on February 10, 2012. She was born August 22, 1916 in Webb City, Missouri the daughter of Jabe C. & Velma Collier Miller.

Lucille was a Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Commerce. She taught Sunday school for many years. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Oklahoma State Retired Teachers. She taught school in Commerce for 29 years and prior to that she taught in County and rural schools for 7 years. Lucille enjoyed spending time and activities with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bertrum A. Williams of 58 years, 5 sisters, Eunice Miller, Wilma Morris, Juanita Martineau, Alberta Gailey and Ruth Schmidt and 2 brothers, Paul Kernel and Lester Miller.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Deanna L. Lord and her husband, Ben of Carthage, Missouri and Sandra J. Luttrell and her husband John, of Commerce, Oklahoma. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Kevin Trease and his wife Trisha, of Dewey, Oklahoma, Doug Lord and his wife Rachele, of Carthage, Missouri, Shari Morgan, of Commerce, Oklahoma and Greg Luttrull and his wife, Kira of Commerce, Oklahoma, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral services for Lucille May Williams will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Commerce, Oklahoma. Interment will be held in G.A.R. Cemetery, Miami.
