Daryl “Sam” Davis, 74, of Miller, died Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society of Miller. A celebration of life service will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday May 5th at the St. Lawrence Community Center. Sam’s cremated remains will be spread over the family farm north of St. Lawrence.

Daryl was born to Ervin and Melva (Carl) Davis on May 5, 1939 at the Miller Hospital. He attended the rural school at Hand City School. Daryl joined the Air Force in Texas. He married and later divorced Linda Nolan from Redfield. He worked for several construction companies and Wilbur’s Feed and Seed. He enjoyed flying, fishing, hunting, and farming.

Survivors include one son, Jeffrey; brother, Jim (Sharon) Davis; sister Marilyn Williams; lifelong companion Leann Blasdell; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Marion Becker, and brother Wilbur Davis.
