Ambrose C. Myers was born on April 4, 1875, in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, the child of Benjamin M. and Catherine (Whisler). He married Amelia Martin on October 21, 1897, in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. They had seven children in 12 years. He died on March 30, 1962, at the age of 86. Elected minister in 1909 at the age of 34, he officially served in that capacity for 58 years following. A lifelong farmer, in his later years was a resident at the Messiah Home in Harrisburg. death cert no. 026130-62.
