Mrs. Kate L. Kilinger, aged 42, wife of John W. Klinger, proprietor of the Neversink Saloon, 1624 Cotton Street (Reading), died at 11:45 am. Mrs. Klinger was taken ill 2 weeks ago with neuralgia which developed into lockjaw. During her illness she was a great sufferer. Her maiden name was Smith and she was born Newport, PA. Her mother, who resides in Harrisburg was with her when she died. The following children survive: George of Harrisburg; Mame, Katie, Annie, Clyde, Owen, Eddie, Earl and Calvin. The following are sisters: Mrs. Maggie Gray, Mrs. Sue Miller ,and Mrs. Jennie Woernle, all of Harrisburg; Mrs. Mary Bressler of Nebraska; and Mrs. Emma Sellers of Steelton.
Deceased was a member of True Americans, Camp no. 17; Pathagorians; and Daughters of America.
