Clifford Wilson Crain, Jr., 73, passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2014. He was born in New Orleans to the late Clifford W. Crain, Sr. and Teressa Brocato. He was predeceased by his sister, Joan Delle Crain. Clifford served in the United States Navy for 27 years in the submarine service. He was a music enthusiast and enjoyed driving immensely. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 48 years, Sadie Elizabeth Crain; children, Clifford W. Crain, III, David P. Crain and wife Stacey, Cynthia D. Baker and husband Glenn; grandchildren, Glenn Jr., Katherin, Alexandria, Clifford IV, and Jonathon; great grandchildren, Aiden, Nicholas; best friend, "Skip" Ragland; along with a host of extended relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, on Tuesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 9:30 a.m. with Fr. Paul Shaughnesy as the celebrant. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
