Richard Lee "Dick" HALVERSON (04/26/1931 - 02/10/2013)

HALVERSON, Richard Lee "Dick" (Age 81) Of Newman Lake, WA passed away Feb. 10, 2013. He was born to the late Philip and Geneva Halverson on April 26, 1931 in Lewiston, Idaho. Dick lived in the Newman Lake area for the last 50 years and retired from Kaiser Aluminum at the Trentwood Rolling Facility with 30 years of service in the Maintenance Department. He spent his retirement years "tinkering around" on numerous projects around the house and enjoying the wildlife that wandered through his back yard. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Philip and Harold Halverson and his son Steven Halverson. He is survived by his sister, three sons, six grandchildren and his close friend [survivors names omitted]. The family wishes to thank Spokane Valley Hospital for the outstanding care provided to Dick during his hospitalization. A Memorial Service will be held 2PM Saturday March 2, 2013 at Heritage Chapel.—Spokesman-Review, Feb. 24, 2013
