Jason Brant Arthur, 30, passed away April 24, 2014. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, J. Michael Howell.
He is survived by his daughter, Cassidy Smith of Chesapeake; his mother, Linda Howell of Suffolk; his father, Grant Arthur of Charleston, WV; sisters, Christina D'Angelo and Augusta Arthur, of Charleston, WV; brothers, Bryan Howell, Matthew Howell, and Justin Doering, all of Suffolk; stepfathers, Richard Doering of Columbia, SC, Jerry Kenny of Chesapeake; and many close friends.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 AM on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434. Following the visitation, a service will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434, with the Rev. Tony Peaks officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the residence.
