Marie is survived by her fiancée, Randy Rivard of Hanska; mother and step-father, Karen and Gordon Haack of New Ulm; brothers, Matthew ( Meredith) Larson of New Ulm, John Larson of Mankato, and Joseph Larson of Hanska; nephews, Kyle, Caleb, and William Larson; niece, Victoria Frank; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Judy Rivard of Grand Forks; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Larson; and grandparents, William and Ingebor Larson, Benard and Irene Olson.
Marie Elaine Larson was born on October 3, 1968 in New Ulm to William and Karen (Olson) Larson. She graduated from New Ulm Public High School with the class of 1987 and then furthered her education, studying for two years at South Central College in Mankato. After college, Marie began working as an ER receptionist at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Mankato, where she was presently employed. Marie was a very loving and caring person. She enjoyed camping, spending time at the lake, and traveling, especially to the Dominican. She had many special friends and loved spending time with them as well as her family. Marie was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Hanska and the Hanska Women of Today. She was so loved by everyone who knew her and she will be dearly missed.
