Janet T.(DeBarge) Nicholas of Deerfield Beach, Florida and formerly of Agawam and Springfield passed away April 23,2014 at Baystate Medical Center .She was born in Springfield, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Bertha ( Shepard) DeBarge and was a graduate of Cathedral High School. She was a Sales Manager for the Monsanto Company retiring after several years. Janet was a member of Oak Ridge Country Club and enjoyed Bridge. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her 4 brothers, Renny, Leo, Robert and Raymond DeBarge and her 2 sisters Gloria Anop and Vivian DeBarge. Janet will be greatly missed by her brother, Lawrence DeBarge and his wife Elsie of Monson, her sister Dorothy Muise of Springfield and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 12 noon -1pm at Sampson's Chapel of the Acres Funeral Home, 21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield immediately followed by a funeral home service at 1 pm. Rites of Committal and Interment follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, 1601 State St, Springfield
