UMBAUGH - Wilburn Emanuel, infant son of Bro. Jonas and Sister Nellie Umbaugh, died at Mountain View, Mo. at the home of Wm. Mullens, Feb. 18, 1908. This little infant just like a blossom opened on earth, then passed into the arms of Jesus to bloom in paradise.
SUSIE UMBAUGH, Pomona, Kans.

(note: Obit. from The Vindicator, a book put out by My grandma Church {the Old German Baptist Brethren Church})

Named for his two grandfathers. He would have been buried at the Mountain View City Cemetery. Several family members are buried there without markers. City officials stated the plot map of the cemetery was lost a number of years ago. So there seems to be no way to locate the grave within the cemetery. Nellie's father was William Wilburn Mullen. At Christmas 1914 Nellie wrote a poem naming the children she had lost. The names were William, Velma, Glenn, Ralph and Bettie.
