Mrs. Theresa Kampf, nee Trautmann, wife of Fred Kampf, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Gasper, Saturday, her demise being due to infirmities incident to old age. The funeral will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Lutheran church, the Rev. W. G. Haase officiating and burial will be at the Tannery cemetery (sic).
Mrs. Kampf was born in Germany, April 19, 1849, and came to this country at the age of eighteen months with her parents, the family coming to Wisconsin after spending four years in the East. The family has lived in this city for the last quarter of a century.
Surviving are the husband and two children, Mrs. Joseph Gasper, Rural Route 2 and William, also living on Route 2. Five grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Emma Broecker, of Two Rivers, also survive her.
