Linda Carroll Dyess Buchanan beloved wife of Charles D. Buchanan went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 24, 2014.
Born 24 October 1946 in Palatka Florida, she had a Bachelor of Science Degree in Real Estate. Linda served for 20 years as an Air force wife with her husband of 47 years. She worked for Coldwell Banker Carroll Realty, Inc. as property manager, Pool Tech, Inc. as bookkeeper and St. Andrew Bay Real Estate, Inc. in administration/bookkeeper.
Linda’s hobbies included reading, on line gaming, crocheting, and cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her church family, worshiping in the Lord’s house, RVing and playing with the family dogs.
Linda is survived by her husband (Charles Buchanan), son (William Bradley Buchanan), mother (Orie T. Dyess), brother and wife (Mr. and Mrs. William B. Dyess, Jr.), daughter in-law (Shannon Buchanan), brother and sister-in law (Mr. and Mrs. James E. Buchanan), sister in-law (Deborah B. Johnson), aunts (Lee Erma Willard and Vivian Garrett), nieces and nephews ( Jesse Dyess, Rebecca Dyess, Jimmy Buchanan, Zeth Buchanan, Aimee Sanders, Heather Sanders and Brandy Johnson). Deceased son, (Charles Buchanan Jr.), father (William B. Dyess), mother and father in law (Mr. and Mrs. Delonas W. Buchanan).
Funeral services will take place 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 28, 2014 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, with Pastor Randall Ehichs officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Kent Forest Funeral Home.
