Mrs. Jessie Currin Langston, 77, of 442 Norvell Street, Henderson, N.C., died Thursday, November 9, 1995.

She was a retired school teacher and was a member of the First Congregational Christian Church, where she served as Choir Director. She was also a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma.

She is survived by her husband, Victor L. Langston; daughter, Marsha L. Smith and son-in-law, Sandy Smith, Blacksburg, Va.; son, Victor Van Langston and daughter-in-law, Jody Langston, Raleigh, N.C.; sister, Mrs. Julia Currin Read, Raleigh, N.C.; four grandchildren, Lee Westbrook Langston, Robert Gill Langston, Ryan Adrian Smith, and Jessica Leigh Smith.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Congregational Christian Church. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Delta Kappa Gamma Scholarship Fund, C/O Bertha Woltz, Rt. 10 Box 223, Henderson, N.C. Arrangements by J. M. White Funeral Service.
