Glenn never married. He had three siblings: Carl born and died in 1935, Mary Ellen Burnett and Janet Claire Palmer.

BURGESS. Graveside Inurnment Services for Glenn William Burgess, Jr. will be held Monday, Aug 20 at 2 pm in Greenacres Memorial Park, Mr. David Lee Harris officiating. Mr. Burgess, age 58, of 3219 Northwest Ave, Bellingham, passed away Saturday, Aug 18, 1984.

He was born and raised in the Bellingham area, was a graduate of Bellingham High School, and attended WWU.

A veteran of WWII, he had worked in the New York and California area for many years returning to Bellingham in 1980.

He is survived by his mother, E. Marion (Rex) Odell, Bellingham; 2 sisters, Mary Ellen Fleming and Jan Lindley, Bellingham; nephews, Mark Burgess Harris, Bellingham; Richard A. Harris, Burlington; David Lee Harris, Anacortes; James Burnett, Bellingham; nieces, Margaret Hurd and Mrs. Clifford (Ellen) LaBounty, Bellingham; Lucinda Thomas, Portland, OR; Mrs. Dan (Clara) Ecklor, Lynden; numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins.
