Funeral services for Augustus L. Politte, 81, 1022 S.E. 35th avenue, who died Tuesday, will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. at the Davies Sunnyside funeral home, S.E. Belmont street at 35th avenue. Interment will be in the family lot at Riverview cemetery.
Born in St. Louis, Mo., Politte came to Portland in 1894 and worked as a marine engineer on the rivers for more than 40 years. He was a member of the Steamboat Men’s association.
Survivors include his widow, Etta May; children, Mrs. Frances O. Robbins, Mrs. Nina B. Cayo and Kenneth W. Politte, all of Portland.
