Joseph Hoover, 53, of Westville, passed away at 11:12 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
He was born Nov. 29, 1960, the son of William Austin and Edna Gertrude (Compton) Hoover. He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Kallie Scotello. He married Jayne Bednar on Feb. 14, 2009 in Georgetown. She survives.
He also is survived by his sons, Richard Baldwin Jr. and Frank (Jen) Scotello; his daughters, Heather (Stephen) Hoover-Boen, Miranda Hoover and Tina (Kim) Rowe; seven grandchildren and his brothers, John (Wilma Bush) Hoover, Larry Hoover and Bill Campbell.
He worked for Apple Buick Chevrolet in Covington, Indiana as a mechanic and he also had worked for Krupp-Gerlach as a fork-lift driver.
