Our beloved father, grandpa, and great-grandpa, William E. Zwick, Jr., passed away on April 23, 2014 while surrounded by his loving family. For ninety years, his honesty, integrity, and love has blessed lives worldwide.

Dad was born to William Evert Zwick and Eleanor Freed Zwick on June 16, 1923, one day before the birth of his eternal companion, Audrey. Theirs was a lifetime of living, loving, and growing together.

He attended Westminster College and the University of Utah, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

On August 22, 1946, Bill was sealed to his lifelong love, Audrey McDonough. They raised their five children, Craig, Connie, Laurie, Carolee, and Jeff, in a home he built for them. It was the family home they all loved for sixty-three wonderful years.

His life was one of service to others as a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served as a bishop, a devoted home teacher, and a mission president in Sacramento, California and Ireland. Bill and Audrey loved each missionary dearly. His calling as a patriarch for the Monument Park Stake brought joy to him and to those he served. He loved learning from the Book of Mormon and possessed a quiet but profound faith in and devotion to the Savior.

Bill was the founder of Zwick Construction Company, with prior experience at Jacobsen and Okland. Serving as president of the Sugarhouse Rotary Club, he gave unselfishly of his time and resources. He loved his country deeply and served as a Commissioned Officer in the Army Infantry Division deployed to the Korean Conflict. Throughout his entire life, that love for country and flag always brought him visible emotion.

Because of his devotion to his five children, his twenty-five precious grandchildren, and sixty-one great-grandchildren, he will be deeply missed. Each one knew they were loved by grandpa. His joy was full as he spent time with them in attending their many activities.

Our family sincerely appreciates the loving care given to our Dad at Osmond Senior Living.

Bill is survived by his children, Craig (Jan) Zwick, Connie (Ken) Williams (Gary Allen deceased), Laurie (Dirk) Jergensen, Carolee (Bill) Schlofman, and Jeff (Michelle) Zwick. He was proceeded in death by his precious wife, Audrey; his parents; and his sweet sister, Pat, and brother-in-law, Jack Harrington.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. in the Monument Park Stake Center, 1320 South Wasatch Drive, Salt Lake City. Friends and family may call on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, and prior to the services at the stake center on Monday from 10:00-11:30 a.m.
