Funeral services for Michael Wayne Wages, 64, of Grenada, were at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014, at National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Providence Cemetery near Gore Springs.
Visitation was Friday, April 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. at National Funeral Home.
Mr. Wages died April 17, 2014, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Greenwood.
He was born in Houston, Miss., on July 14, 1949, and was the son of the late Authur Elmer Wages and Ada Faye Tunnel Wages.
Mr. Wages was employed by True Value as a sales manger. He was a member of Pearson Chapel Nazarene Church and attended Providence Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Wages of Gore Springs; one son, John Michael Wages (Renee) of Grenada; one step-daughter, Kimberly Shay Schoeneck (Paul) of Flowood; one step-son, Shawn Wayne Davis (Jennifer) of Water Valley; one sister, Elaine Coleman of Houlka; one brother, James Elmer Wages of Houston, Miss.; and seven grandchildren.
