Anna Belle Welch, age 80 of Young Harris, GA passed away on April 23, 2014 following an extended illness. She was born to the late Henry Bell and Ruby (Denton) Hooper on August 08, 1933 in Hiawassee, GA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Chester Welch, a son, Jerry Allen Welch and a grandson, Kevin Welch. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Richard Lee and Doris
Welch; three grandchildren; Derek Welch, Nick (Azure) Welch and Jaclyn (Bret) Davenport; five great grandchildren; Slade Davenport, Dakota Lanning, Jade Welch, Zachary Davenport and Nathaniel Welch.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 3:00 PM from Lower Bell Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Satterfield officiating. Pallbearers were: Nick Welch, Derek Welch, Houston Dayton, Slade Davenport, Kevin Moss and Rodney Underwood. Music was provided by the family. Interment was in Wolffork Baptist Church cemetery in Clayton, GA.
