Bob Alexander, 77, of Kansas City, Missouri died at 7:30p.m. Thursday April 22, 2014 at NorthCare Hospice at Kansas City, Missouri.

Mr. Alexander was born Feb.16,1937 at Mulberry, Kansas the son of Carl George and Marjorie Nadine Ball Alexander. He began working at AT&T in Kansas City, Missouri, Lamar, Missouri, Cincinnati, Ohio, Windsor, Missouri and then to Joplin, Missouri where he retired as a Manager after 31 years of service.

He graduated from Mulberry High School in 1955 where he was the Senior Class President. He married Donna Kay Radford on December 18,1955. They had 3 children, Pam, Steve and Janet. He married Amelia Jacobs on October 24,1997. She survives at the home. Bob was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing all his life, especially with his son and grandchildren.

He was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Amy of the home, two daughters, Pam and husband Rodger Hamilton of Kansas City Missouri, daughter-in-law, Khadija Alexander of Kansas City Missouri, six grandchildren, Michelle Hamilton, Seth Rollins, Sarah Rollins, Michael Kile, Amir Alexander and Ryan Alexander. Six great grandchildren, Boston Rollins, Owen Rollins, Corbin Hamilton, Drew Rollins and Donna Quinn Rollins, Carrie Ann Long and two sisters, Carole Jean Alexander of Pittsburg, Kansas and Shirley and husband Virgil Willey of Garland, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Donna Kay Alexander and son, Steven Carl Alexander.

Funeral services will be at 1p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma Kansas with Father Larry Parker officiating. Burial will be at the Rosebank Cemetery at Mulberry, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1p.m. Friday at the Bedene Chapel prior to services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma Kansas 66712
