HARRY PARRY-----WEST LIBERTY-----Harry C. Parry, 94, a life resident of the Atalissa and West Liberty area, died Friday evening at his home southeast of West Liberty.
Services were held today at the Snider Funeral Home, West Liberty. Rev. Lawrence Carlton officiated. Mrs. Dorothy Mays was the organist.
Pallbearers were Warren Dutton, George Lewis, Chad James, Wayne Hoerrmann, Clifford Fryermuth and James Stucker. Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Harry Parry was born Oct. 16, 1885, on the same farm on which he died, the son of John and Nancy Lyons Parry.
His marriage to Maude Rockafellow took place September 1912 in West Liberty.
He had been a farmer in Muscatine County all his life. Survivors include
two sons, Herbert of Atalissa and
Vernon of Davenport,
six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and one sister.
