Carolyn was a member of Right Direction Church International, serving on many ministries. She was employed with the South Carolina Department of Education for more than 10 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and was working toward her Masters at Strayer University.
Carolyn loved sharing the word of God, even during her illness. She had a spirit of great peace that affected all that knew her. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she will be sorely missed by all of those who loved and had the opportunity to know her.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Dale Gibbs; two loving children: Michelle N. Clifton and Dwayne James, Jr.; one loving brother, Earnest Carlos, III; two stepsisters, Jacklyn C. Davis and Doris J. Johnson; four adoring grandchildren: Mikayla J. Clifton, George Williams, III, Michael D. Outen and Jayden M. Outen; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; a special cousin, Sharon H. Stevens; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
