Carolyn Anita Nagel, 63, died Nov. 11, 2007 at St. Mary's Medical Center, after a short illness. She had lived in California all her life, residing in Apple Valley for the last 50 years. She was well known for her love of animals, whom she considered her "other children."
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Dee Nagel, of Apple Valley; daughter, Stephanie H. Dexter, of San Clemente; son Danny Hollenbeck, of Las Vegas, Nev.; son Donny Hollenbeck of Apple Valley; son David Dexter of Apple Valley; sister, Joanne Evenson, of Apple Valley; nephew, Charles Wentworth of Apple Valley; god-son Nicholas Wentworth of Apple Valley; four grandchildren; and niece, Tracy Kenig, of Apple Valley.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Desert View Funeral Home, 11478 Amargosa Road, Victorville.
