Pfc. U.S. Army, {RA26357536}, Korean War-Pfc. Petticord was killed in action by small arms fire on 9-3-1950 while serving as a Light Weapons Infantryman with the 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division.

He is the son of Mr. Harold & Mrs. Eva Petticord of McLean County, Illinois.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Korean Service Medal with One Service Star, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Presidential unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal.
