RENWICK E. SPRAGUE
CATO – Renwick E. Sprague, 78, of Broadway Road, RD 2, died Friday morning at his home.
Born in Newark, Mr. Sprague had resided in Syracuse most of his life until moving to the Town of Victory in 1957. He attended Victory Methodist Church and is a former member of Syracuse Odd Fellows Lodge. He was a machinist at Nixon Gear Corp. of Syracuse until his retirement in 1957.
Mr. and Mrs. Sprague celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in August.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elfrieda Kreutzer Sprague; two sons, William R. of Victory and Raymond F. Sprague of Jordan; a daughter, Mrs. Adelaide E. (Boots) Hayes of Syracuse; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Jewell Funeral Home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
