William H. Jeffers of Bloomingdale, age 77, died Tuesday, April 8, in Union Hospital at Terre Haute. He was born at Fairmount, Illinois, January 31, 1903, the son of William and Daisy Hayes Jeffers. November 10, 1928, he married Pauline Brading at Metcalf, Illinois. She died September 3, 1968. Jeffers was a retired superintendent at Dee Clay Products. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jayne Wittenmyer of Madison, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Judi Robinson of Crawfordsville; three sons, William L. of Bloomingdale, John Paul of Rockville and Robert A. of Kingman; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rice Funeral Home in Marshall with Rev. Shirley Brown officiating. Burial will be in Bloomingdale Cemetery.
