Van Sickle, Marie Anna Chapman Price
was born September 3, 1920 in Manassa, Colorado to Archie and Evelyn Chapman and passed away April 17, 2014 in Glendale, Arizona.

Marie married Melvin Price in 1938 and was subsequently widowed in 1959, eventually moving to Arizona. In 1967, she married Forrest Van Sickle, Jr. and four fortunate children gained a wonderful step-mother.

After a long and successful career, she retired in 1983 from the telephone company that was known as "Ma" Bell back then. Marie was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This was very important to her and she served the church faithfully her whole life.

Marie was predeceased by her husband, Forrest and is survived by her four step-children who loved her very much - John (Terry) Van Sickle, Mike (Michele) Van Sickle, Rick (Bonita) Van Sickle, and Mary Werne (Jay). She is also survived by her beloved sister, Hazel Chapman; family of her late brother Elbert (Nedra) Chapman, including nieces and nephews Thomas (Nina) Chapman, Lorraine (Michael) Rowzee, Robert (Linda) Chapman, and Cynthia (Tita) Tai. Also left to cherish her memory are her "like a daughter" Nancy Collier, grandchildren, great-grandchild and numerous friends.
